Thanks everyone. Made it home after a long day at the er.
Woke at 430 this morning with bad cramps.
Went to the potty and a woosh of blood came out.
Scared the you know what out of me.
Was in the hospital by 10 and they preped me for another catscan.
At 415 I was finally taken for the scan.
Found out I have a bad case of diverticulitis.
On antibiotics and pain med for tummy ache.
So ...all in all I,m happy that that was all. Even though my gut feels like I was a punching bag.

So glad you are OK  ... or will be once the meds start to work for you. Diverticulitis can be miserable when it flares up. Did they give you a list of foods to stay away from? Send a PM if ya need anything, but for now, lots of rest is probably tops on your list because even small amount of blood loss will leave you feeling like you got run over by a bus... Again, just glad you are ok...

mika i had the same thing but mine was caused by a bad reaction to an antibiotic, go figure they give me something to fix a problem but it causes a problem. Good luck i know the feeling but worse of all is no alcoholic drinks....thats if you enjoy a bevy or 2 like myself.

Glad to hear your OK. I had the same thing happen to me John a few months ago. Wife took me to the hospital thinking it was my appendix. Gotta watch what I eat now - things like peanuts are a definate no-no for me.  I'm sure it was quite a scare for ya. Take care.
