quick shot of spring...

... but now its back to winter


Last friday with the 75*temps, it felt like spring was here
cut out of work early and went to check out some water with the dog

it ended up that the dog needed out more than me...









I walked up on him with his head buried in a log
snorting and grunting



get it...



first kill of '11







then on tuesday I had some free time in the afternoon while I was out
found a little brook trout stream and got my first fish on dries in '11
neat little piece of water... probably got 5or10 in a little over an hour...
2wt... one fly... jeans and running shoes

    That mole........ wonder how that would make for some leech strips.... once all the saliva is dried off of course.
