Got 4 eyes last night. I keeper around 20", three cigars. Lost one real nice fish. Sunset was picture perfect. So clear. Didn't stay too late had to get to bed for morning gobblers.

Fished Pymy today for a few hours late am/early afternoon.  We caught about 25 perch in 8 to 11 feet of water... Just got done carving them up with the fillet knife.  Perch averaged about 8 or 9 inches with a few nicer ones mixed in.

Fished the north end Saturday evening from 5-9. Picked up 8 eyes with 7 coming in the last hour and a half. Only 2 keepers, next year looks great already. 9-11 ft of water at 1.5 or so. Everything came trolling fire tiger Hot N Tots. Picked up 3 big crappie and a nice bass as well. Had a friend fish the south end all day Sunday starting at 6 am with 1 partner and got 24 eyes. Also trolling but he said any color Hot N Tot with chrome/blue bars being the best. Same speed. They managed two limits of barely keepers.

It was great to do some trolling again and a couple doubles sure got me back in gear.

Heard of a couple muskies mid week but the muskie fishing in general has been slow.

imo mothers day weekend has always been the best walleye weekend and memorial day weekend has always been the best musky weekend. just sayin'

Fished the south end Saturday and caught 22 crappies. In 15'-23' of water.  I always did better in late June and early July trolling for the suspended eyes.

No the water hasn't started to come down yet.  I was out today and it's still extremely high!!!  It's going to be awhile before it starts to drop...

As of right now, and with the rains all week but thursday and saturday, the only one with the dock in is the causeway.  There is still 10+ foot of water between dry land and the actual dock.  The others are not back in yet, they pulled them I'm guessing because of the high winds a few days ago?...You can launch at any of the ramps, just bring waders or at a minimum hip boots to launch...The causeway you may be able to get away with just knee high boots, but I would still recommend something slightly higher.  If the other docks go in before thursday, I'll let you know.

I got into some nice fish yesterday...  North side of causeway with road runner tipped with minnow...  23 crappie and 3 walleye...eyes were 19, 21 and 23 and crappies were 11+ with most being 13 and 14...All in all a good day and nothing beats nice eyes on an ultra-lite.

Nice catch Frost and I'll bet they will be better in the frying pan. I think I seen you out there the otherday. When I can I usually hit that spot myself.

As in the post I put up right before the pictures, No the docks aren't in only the causeway is in...Yes you will need hip boots or chest waders to launch at any launch, the causeway has 10+ foot of water before the actual dock.

Yeah definitely going to be good in the frying pan...only problem I have to wait till my mom's vacation to eat them...she will kill me if I eat it without her...

With drill for the army and a vacation next week, my month is over for fishing (except for on vacation in Illinois), so it was good to get some nice fish for the freezer, I was running extremely low after lent...

dont expect the water to go down anytime soon. just saw on the news that shenango has to hold in all its water cause of the levy they blasted up in the south so nothing south will flood. we all know pymy goes into shenango.

Don't know about the Linesville campground, but you can launch at the marina...The water is EXTREMELY high, but with the steepness of the ramp you wont have any problems...

Just drove down Orchard and the parking lot is half covered in about 2" of water or so...the docks are not in yet either.  Have not been out fishing since Monday, so I can't speak of the fishing since then...Tomorrow is my last final then heading to Illinois for 6 days, so I won't be able to update anything for the weekend.

Causeway dock is still in and still under water...Didn't get to much rain today, but yesterday we did get some and the creeks were up...

Good luck and be safe out there this weekend to all that venture out...

Was able to use the launch on the south east side of the causeway with n o problems. About 2 inches of water on the cement slab going out to the dock.  Caught about 2 dozen walleye between my son and I of which 3 were keepers. 8 nice crappie too.  13 to 16 ft of water was most productive.

Ya lots of undersized 'eyes this year for sure, which is a great sign. Been too windy to do any "slabbin" lately but the wind cant blow forever can it?
