fished last nite, 10 landed 2 kept, this is the first time in years Ive had 8 throwbacks, looks like the did get some survival with past stockings

Caught 7 from 7:30 till 9:00 3 keepers(all males) 20.5 -17.5 inches 4 shorties,floating Rap Chart. and 1/8 twister tails chart also. Hot bite but turned off quick,caught them off the back side off and island then moved to a sand bar less than 100 yards from the island.Had two rods rigged and tossed both baits funny the Raps caught the keepers and the twister caught the shorties,no smallmouths so the eye might be around for a few more days.

They still be around for next weekend? Hoping to get up to the lake then, just stocked up on some rapalas.

we normally catch fish on these spots till the first of June or so

Used to rent there and long while back . Long lining night crawlers would slam them in the channel.

i caught 22 on a jig head and minnow from shore , ALLL SHORT but im not complaining made for a good time

Saturday turned out to be a great evening for some wading...

Brought 2 home for the fryer...both about 16...

wish I'd have remembered the yellow rope...these metal stringers are too noisy!

Had a hog come unbuttoned just as I was reaching for it, had a few throw backs (12-14") & lots of hits.
Foul hooked a carp too, thought it was the 'eye of the night until I saw the yellow.
Good couple hours.

some nice fish. i went up last night too. caugh 5 small ones all lil guys between 12 and 14 at the **** in jamestown. was on the north end too but that was just driving around. a lot of pressure up there.

37 landed 12 legal on Sat, 5 landed3 legal Sunday, 24 landed, 6 legal tonite, this is the best nite bite weve had in a few years

Was fishing with a buddy on the 37 nite, Fished with my son and neighbor tonite, landed I dont know how many 50 ? 75?, we landed buttloads and brought home 16, ranged in size from 15.5 to 25 inches, heres a crappy cell phone pic of 15, 1 flopped off the cleaning table as I was taking the pic

Went out wading for a few hours last night and lost count of how many fish I caught. I caught a bunch of short fish and 7 keeper size fish. I brought home 5 between 17-24".
