Low Vis Green

i'm not sure what to think about line color or lack there of.  does a fish real process what it sees like that.  I mean fish can not think, they don't look at line and say "hey, there's some line, it must be attached to that hook"  also if a fish sees line and thinks it's not right, then how can a spinner catch a fish?  can't they see the spinner as being fake.  no, i think it's more about vibration.  the thicker the line the more vibration it sends out, but as we readint all the mags, vibration is good, sometimes.  so again here we are at the beginning, how does line make a difference?  no one has an answer and that's why fishing companies make so much money. plus if they knew they would not tell us anyway.

Catch more fish using 6lb flourocarbon leader than 8lb powerpro that is half the diameter in shallow water.

You have to remember that color is based on light. Different colors can be seen at different depths. And different fish can pick up different ranges of color. Fish may not know what line is in the way that you or I do, but they can tell when something is off. In my experience, it's usually best to use the smallest and lest visible line you can get away with in any situation. I don't see any advantage with colored line. It certainly won't be less visible than clear line, in clear or murky waters. Of course in some situations (ie. night fishing for catfish) it doesn't matter what color the line is, but since there's no advantage to be gained by colored line, why bother?
