Lake Marburg

Fished Lake Marburg Sunday 10/10 and only managed a few largemouth. Talked to a few boats and the same thing. Very few fish. Anyone else been out?

    We fished it in June, July and Aug we did well with poppers, and foam gurglers. We heard the bite goes of quick as the water temp falls. I wanted to get out last weekend but the wind changed my mind. Sub-surface should work,as they are fattening up for winter. I fished Marsh Creek impound several weeks ago and finaly found that fishing about 50' off the bank with streamers imitating shad worked well, maybe its the ticket here, good luck. . All my effort now is getting ready for Erie.

    I just think the weather has them off. I was looking forward to some stable weather until it starting pouring again last night. Looking forward to the next few weeks. It seems like it's always feast or famine at Marburg!
