20 days and counting!

Okay fellow fishermen, It has been a long winter at least for me..I'm sure looking forward to my regular opener haunts in my catskill backyards! I usually hit the same spots I finished in the fall season.. I like using worms though instead of eggs (because this winter i forgot to borax my bt eggs and they stunkenthefrig gagged me..i also will try spooning using same lure at the spots i landed bt last nov trip. going to try new line high performance sufix #6 and see how it compares to my favorite spincast line 6# fireline. So lets start talking tackle

    just remember the no kills on the bk and willow are open

    jk, was wondering where you went, glad you're still around..yes i also get all the reports i need from a few sources ,, especially catskillflies .. i sure hope 206 doesn't washout again.. that side of the mt is my shortcut but i do like the long way past cooksfalls.

    still around just haven't checked out the forum much, i used to basically live in the catskill flies shop, I know I will be down that way sooner or later just not sure when, but I tied a ton of flies today, NCAA basketball goes hand and hand with tying, GO 'CUSE

    JK,i'm sure we can meet someday, perhaps when the big hatches get going on bk and eb because those places are my weekend haunts for flyfishing..i do have a thing for ice out on the reservoirs so it is not just flyrods i bring up brother phoned he was in traffic on the way up in suffern..ramapo river is flloded big time.
