Thunder Egg

1.Materials

2. Tie in crystal flash (match chenille or white)

3.Tie in lead eye using figure eight pattern. May add super glue for stability.

4.Tie in chenille and Wrap chenille around eye one each side of hook and center. May require two wraps per side based on chenille size and type.

5. Tie down at eye, (makes a more rounded fly vs. tying in rear). Apply a drop of super glue if desired. Clip excess chenille close to hook.

Finished fly with recessed lead eyes (can't find anywhere since Sportsmans Warehouse closed)

Great winter pattern, really cuts through slush and gets down in high water.
