Went out of Conny Yesterday. I was gonna stay in but the crew wanted to go out. Ran out 9.5 miles 70+FOW started settin lines and the crew was callin fish their own way, Chum City. So pulled em in and had a nice boat ride out and back in the 5 footers. Went out of da Nut this AM for a couple hours just me and the wife. Didnt move a rod in two hours and had enough since I was basically alone she just drove the boat. Went back to camp and got the new Fish Hawk X4 installed and got camp cleaned up a little. One more weekend of feeshin then the EPSFA ProAM. Come on Summer... err I mean summer weather.

Yeah this is getting to be a little crazy. Been wanting to get out on the lake for perch while my buddy is in town, but every chance we get the conditions are atrocious..reason being that erie can turn up so easy is because its so shallow?

I don't care if you have a 30 footer, It isn't fun fish'n in 5' waves in my opinion. This has been a bad year for me. With spending so much time at the hospital, with my wife visiting my very sick mother- in- law. And all the rain on the days I could go, I haven't been out alot. I am retired, so I'll have plenty of time later. (I hope)

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

It was worth it today....Went out of Conneaut at about 1, Lake was about 3's occasional 4's. Got our 120 in about and hour and 45 minutes and was back to the dock by 4:30. Lake was laying down as when we were coming off, Probably only 2's on our way in.
