Presque Isle fishing pic

Just got home from a 2 day fishing trip to the bay and did pretty good.  On Saturday we caught 20 smallies and a few large mouth in the bay.  On Sunday my girlfriend caught a monster near buoy 10 (by the coast guard channel in 9 feet of water.   Will work on uplaoding the picture you wont want to miss.

I don't know which is bigger...the smile or the fish. It's a 22 inch bass and a 24 inch smile.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...

Great photos, great smile. Folks ask why I drive to Erie to fish, I'll just show them these photos.

I get the same questions asked of me.  Why go anywhere else?  I would rather drive an extra 60 minutes to fish Erie than settle for some other lake in my opinion.  Thanks for the comments.

I got a lot of flack from my buddies about tellling people where she caught it at but what the heck, I wish everyone could catch fish like that.  That is what it is all about.  Good luck.

That is the million dollar question I guess.  I didn't have my scale, long story... I fish with some guys who always have one on board and they weigh every fish we catch in Erie and we are pretty close on guessing the weights before we put them on the scale.  My biggest smb is 7lbs 4 ounces in Erie and I have to say for certain that this fish was bigger than the one I caught last year.  You know what happens when you estimate on here so I am just saying it was a nice fish and leave it to the experts on what it weighed.  When I saw it in the water while she was reeling it in, I knew it was big.  She is really happy about catching it so I guess that is all that matters.  Next time I will have my scale handy.

If wives went fishing, why would we go?

The best part about fishing with me is you never have that annoying fish smell on your hands afterwards.

Dude, you keep posting pictures of your girlfriend, your wife might find out! Then no more trips to Erie.  Nice fish, though.
