Night fishing reports

Has anyone been night fishing? I've been thinking about trying Pymatuning, Wilhelm, Geneva Swamp, Conneaut, Tamarack, or Woodcock. Wouldn't mind find a walleye lake....anyone?

    Wow another nightfisherman...
Tamarack has some great muskie numbers along with a lot a wallies
Wilhelm hasnt been to productive in anyway, besides it seems the bass size is increasing quite a bit. Out of the last 10 bass ive caught there....3 were over 6 1/2 lbs the biggest being a little over 8lbs! In years before the biggest bass Ive caught there were averaging maybe 12inches.
From my findings... the lake fishing hasnt been to productive yet, water needs to warm up more. Maybe after this week coming theyll start biting. Good luck.

Thanks alot Nightowl....I am an avid night angler, simply because by the time I get out of work there's only two hours of daylight left. I live practically beside Wilhelm, so I will do my best to keep updated when SOMETHING starts biting. I will have to get up to Tamarack...I didn't realize there were eyes in that lake

Do you catch many Musky at night? I do a lot of night fishing where they are present and never caught one at night or know anyone personally that has. I have caught a fair amount during the day, tho.

Night time is when I've done my best Musky fishing. When I lived in Ford City, Crooked Creek was the place...but only at night

Spillway has been better than the lake, especially late at night when they open the gates

Don't you have to close down the bar at pitzers before heading out to fish the spillway for guaranteed success??  Couldn't resist!

LOL! Great stuff. BTW, In all seriousness, a state cop sits by the restroom at the spillway now, and both state and Manor twp. police sit at the beach overlook at night. Be careful.

Rumor has it that closing down Pitzers, then going out is guaranteed success. Cop? No Worries...like I said, go to Pitzers first lol. hey Avid, I've gotten musky at the spillway, but not like yours Saturday. Truly impressive.
