1999 Monark 191 King Viper (SOLD)

(Sorry for the large format.. first time I've add a pic to a post.. No idea why they went in side by side???)

I'm selling my 19ft Monark after one season of use.  It is a 1999 in very good condition.  I've put approx. 35-40 hours on the boat and it is very clean.  It has a 4.3 liter V6 I/O. Live well, rod storage on port and starboard, additional storage compartment in the bow,  glove box, windshield, AM/FM Cassette.  35-40 gallon fuel tank and it has seemed to be very good on gas (It's a light aluminum boat with a v6 so it doesn't have to work hard to get it moving... I've had it up to 50 mph on the bay so it will move!!).  It looks like a Lund Tyee or Barron in appearence.  I can e mail pix to anyone that is interested.

Comes with the following:

Custom Mooring Cover (new in 2008)
Bow Mount Minkota With quick release mount and foot pedal (new battery in 2008)
4 Tite Loc adjustable rod holders and two permanant mount tite locs
Garmin GPS
Garmin Fishfinder
Eagle fishfinder (mounted on the bow)
Uniden VHF radio
2 Amish Trolling Bags (new in 2008)
Bimini Top that attaches to windshield
Trailer with Surge Brake and new tires (including Spare)

Also negotiable are brand new Okuma rods and reels with counters with 30lb fireline (all new this year purchased from fish USA) dipseys, harnesses and lots of extra's I can't think of now).  All owners manuals as well. Can e mail pics.

9,995  (* I have turned the boat over to Tim at North East Marina.  If you are interested please call him at 725-8244)

Don

Well it wasn't for less money and things were added.  Custom mooring cover, tite loc rod holders, battery for the minncota, Rods reels line, trolling bags, "dipsy's harneeses and more that I can't think of now"....  I had it on the water 6-7 times last years.

Why are you interested in looking at it?

obviously split shot you havent bought a boat recently. Sorry a buddy was here using my acct when looking here & he looked at that boat at the shop. If your paying cash, so be it, but in this economy and day in age, a boat buyer will book the value of the boat and yes it will depreciate even 1 more year from last. If a guy needs to get a loan, even harder because it doesnt matter what the seler is asking, if that boat doesnt book out enough for the bank to give a loan, he SOL and more out of pocket which obviously 1 needing a loan doesnt have the cash to pay up front to begin with most likely. That bank will look at every item & appraise it so they make sure there loan is worth the investment becuz they don't care if u can't afford it, they care what they have vested into the loan if u default, that they can get their money back. Its like put want in 1 hand and POS in other, which weighs more.

Bowhuntingsteve.  Though I appreciate your concerns it appears you have no interest in this vessel so no need to keep posting.  Price reduce to 11,500.  I purchased this boat for 12500+ tax.. added 800 in a custom mooring cover and it is coming with approx. 500-600+ of fishing gear..  rods , reels, tackle , new battery, rod holders ect.

I bought a 2005 Monark King 190 last year...Monark makes great boats.  They are made by Starcraft and Monark is their welded aluminum line.  I wish you were selling this before I bought mine, as I paid twice what you're asking, and that's with a 115hp outboard.  If your boat is as clean as it appears to be in the pics, I'd say that's a pretty good deal especially with all the gear thrown in.

Hard to believe you haven't sold it yet. Where else do you have it listed? I hope you're at least doing some fishing while you still have it!

Always looking at boat adds, but I beleive the new lower $10,500 price is the same as the April 1st obo price.

busting a guys bawls because of how much he wants for his boat? people buy and sell cars, trucks, boats, motors, etc... everyday and make money on them.

yes I just edited the original post to reflect the 10,500 price.  I just put some money into the trailer (500 on surge brake, lines and wheel berrings).  I've had it out some this year but not a ton.... filling perch tickets now!!  This is about as low as I would accept and since it's paid for i'm not going to take a huge loss on a nice boat.  (especially since it's my wife desire for it to sell not mine!!).  I'll probably put it on Craigs list later in the year but who know I may just keep her!!

Financially speaking you may be better off with the 33% remaining for the rest of your life.  But boats take up loads of money too (I guess thats why we call them "She" and "her").

If I would have asked what everyone wanted, they would have responded that they wanted a better horse....Henry Ford
