Big Sewickley Creek

I've never fished this stream before and would like to. Can anyone tell or PM me a good starting point . I would be comming from the New Brighton area. I try to fish one new stream a year and even though I live in Beaver County, I never tried this one.
Thanks,

there's also a really cool Blue Herron Rookery on the top of the hill on Big sewickley creek road, right past the concrete plant. You'll see the nests in the trees. They are the best trout fisherman on that creek.

Those nests (and all the others ) are the single biggest thing that has changed that creek for the worse. Although it is sad thats nature. At least the creek wasn't ruined because of something idiotic done by man.

Does anyone know if the fishing has gotten better down by Lober since they cleaned up the sulfur pits?  I used to fish there years ago and catch and release but have not been there in years.  It was always a good spot to have some fun in the summer when the wind was blowing in the right direction.

Any day with a rod in the water is better than a day at work
