Past weekend reports

Sorry these are late, but my home computer is in the shop...
 
Fished Shenango, golden run last thursday, 6 in. of ice (3" black with 3" frozen slush on top.  Caught a few small crappie, saw a lot of stripers & white bass on the camera.
 
Fished Wilhelm Saturday, Old roadbed, 8" of ice caught a lot of small gillz, a few perch and a few crappie, all small as well.
 
Fished a local Lawrence county lake monday, 7 inches of ice, caught some real nice perch & gillz.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

    Have to agree with you about Shenango this season. So far, all we're getting is small crappies and perch. Heading up to PI this weekend.

    John, i cant get to my spots where i do most of my open water fishing. I wont walk across the channal, no matter how much ice we get. I'll fish the community holes like everybody else. Safety first with me. Going up lake next time.
