Actually I think Worm and coyote should be congratulated for thinking outside the "box".  There are some places in the bay where there are steelhead even right this minute and if he had found them, then weee-oooh.  This does look like a better year though if the weather just holds up.  That's what I told folks last year:  Think outside the box.  I will be scouting the day before the "One Fly" and I think I know where to look that nobody else thinks of looking.
    I'm still trying to find out where the little stream that we found one time in the boat comes down out of the cliff at.  Thing was smaller than trout run and here were about 30 steel in there.  But we were fishing for "eyes" and the boat owner (my step dad) only let us off to stretch our legs "so to speak".  All I know is there was a cliff with no houses along it and there was this small creek with many steel in it.  I'm hoping I can find a land access to the place.  It will be my "super-double-secret-probation" spot to fish.
 
BTW: We are up to 24 confirmed people and 8 unconfirmed so this year may be bigger than last.

     Know the place well.  You'll be able to give us an up-to-date fish report when you come up to sign in.  I'm going to be at the Green Roof Inn and they have a firepit and horseshoe pits and a small covered picnic area, and the resturant is right next door so maybe we can get a Night Before The "One Fly"  gathering going either at your camp or at the motel for Friday night.  Hey,  e-mail me and we'll discuss it.

This sounds like fun ! Looks like a cheap fly rod for me for X- mas. That should ensure some laughs at next years. After that,will more than likely have to change my name to "court jestor"

I have a glass rod that is very forgiving. I am sure you,ll have fun, may even catch something. Or a nice custem 10 ft. that is also fun.
Its like crappie fishing but with a fly and a torpedo as a fish.

Is there electricity available if I decide to bring something in a crock pot?

I will be bringing my two burner propane caming stove and will have another one burner for back up.  All you will need is a pot with the food and we will heat it up.  I also think Skip is bringing his grill, but I am not too sure how that will work for heating up stuff.
