Mexico won by getting Trump to crack down on illegal gun traffic that the US is known for. Makes them a safer country.
To be fair, I chalk that up as a Trump win. It is all tied together. The less guns, the weaker the cartels are, the less drugs coming in and less people trying to escape those areas. I have no issues in what he is attempting to do. How he is going about it in throwing two of our biggest allies under the bus, is well, the Trump way. He has thrown just about his entire previous cabinet under the bus. Through our entire free election system under the bus. How about working with the stacked legislature to put together comprehensive immigration reform that was already ready to be passed before he tanked it???

LADWP, which serves the Palisades, is tied into the State Water Project. In fact they get most of their water from the SWP.
The part of the Fed aqueduct your friend in referring to gets its water from the west slope of the central Sierras, not the delta.
Although Trump does not appear to be an expert on CA’s water infrastructure, he certainly seems to understand it much better than both you and your friend combined.
I Forgot about this. My apologies. We're both so close to agreeing. With two different water projects + dams it can get confusing.
CVP vs SWP. CVP is federal controlled. SWP is State controlled. But then releases were not just from 1 point at the Tracy pump but multiple points including 2 dam releases that serve the CVP.

I had no idea that billions of dollars were being given away in such a manner.! Of course I knew about some of the countries and money we funneled to them for various reasons but had no idea how insane some of the things were that we funded until I recently discovered some of it. Whew, mind boggling to say the least . Time to eliminate the wheat from the chaff. Hats off to Mr Musk and whoever else is working on this issue.

Sometimes I think there are a lot of people on here who really liked the last 4 years. They complain more about Trump undoing the libs moves than they ever did about sleepy Joe and Harris. Well its America and they can do that but I will never be able to figure out why.

Last week, Trump and musk claimed USAID was spending $50 million on condoms to Gaza and that turned out to be complete bullshiit. So it’s a fair bet they are lying through their teeth constantly. Here’s a question for you though. Since they are doing so much “saving taxpayers money”, does that mean I’m getting some of that money I paid in taxes back? Or is “saving taxpayers money” basically a meaningless term that doesn’t do jackshiit for anybody?

I have no issues in what he is attempting to do.
Yep, keep them guns here for our criminals and keep our streets safer. Once the word is out the US is boosting arms trafficing checks might just happen. Makes sense to me now, thanks.
Not like the US seizes many arms to begin with.

Do a quick search on the Iron River. You will see the link to the whole border mess. The vast majority are bought here legally, then illegally exported. Most of “our” criminals aren’t willing to pay someone $5k to simply buy them a gun. They will smuggle them in themselves or pay even more for someone to do. If used in a crime in Mexico, very little will happen to the one purchasing. If used in a crime in US, you go to prison. Risks are much higher and reward way lower to straw purchase for crimes in US.
