NASCAR Picks 2025

Gentlemen,
 
     A new season is almost upon us.  How many are in it this year?  Same basic rules:  Winner +Long Shot - 1st Out.
     Trifecta - choosing the exact best car in each category.
     Mini-Trifecta -  Choosing the best pick among all the players.
     - 40 points for picking a LS from the top 12.
     Tiebreakers will be:  Winner - LS - 1st Out - earliest entry.
     1st Three Races will be "open"  the rest of the season will be with the Top 12.
                       Hoping to see you competing.

    I can do the season points total again this year.
    I would like to make a change this year if we all agree on it. What I would like to do is have a Regular Season and a Playoff Season.
    The regular season gets scored as usual. The Winner for that week will also receive 1 playoff point.
    (If there is a tie, each will receive 1 playoff point).
     Playoff points are only used for the playoff season.
    After the 26 race regular season, we reset the points for the 10 race Playoff Season as followed:
     
     1. Regular Season points champion=100 points + playoff points earned.
     2. 90 + playoff points earned
     3. 85 + playoff points earned
     3. 80 + playoff points earned
     4. 75 + playoff points earned
     5. 70 + playoff points earned
     6. 65 + playoff points earned
     7. 60 + playoff points earned
     8. 55 + playoff points earned
     
    This would tighten up the points and make it more competitive going into the playoffs as everyone would be less than 100 points from 1st place.
