Martin Luther King Jr

He was a remarkable man in many ways. It was a sad day in our country’s history when his life was cut short by an assassin. If you take time to look at some of his speeches or read quotes attributed to him you might appreciate what he tried to accomplish.
I believe the world would be a better place if we followed along with many of the life lessons he taught.

Greatness is not measured by what we have,
but by what we give.

    Agree. I find it troubling when I hear people having issue with there being a holiday to remember. Also find it troubling as a federal contractor that my company doesn’t give us the day off too!

    I think we can all agree that MLK jr would have absolutely loved Donald and everything he stands for.

    He would have loved that Reverend’s speech. That was great. Glad that Trump embraced him for it.

    It was probably the most entertaining portion of the inauguration. Besides maybe Trump doubling down on expanding the US and renaming the Gulf of Mexico. I thought that was a joke and not actually policy. The expansion of the US sure doesn’t sound good for Ukraine or Taiwan, but I guess sux to be them? I thought the previous President was supposed to skip these inaugurations and pout about losing though? Setting good examples and all.
