Got one! 8 point.

First day of my rutcation and first time in this stand. Pretty much a buck parade this morning. Seen three 8 points and shot this guy at 11:00. I passed up a frontal shot at a bit bigger buck at 8am. Just don't like those shots. When I seen this guy coming I almost let him go since this was my first day of a weeks vacation, but when he posed at 36 yards, I let one fly and hit him perfect. Went 25 yards and it was game over. The old saying don't pass up on the first day what you would shoot on the last day.

Thanks. That is the new Burris OracleX rangefinding crossbow scope. Similar to their Eliminator series. Push a button, it ranges the target and drops a single aiming point. I haven't carried a rangefinder with me for two deer seasons now.

Its is. I am fortunate to sometimes be asked for input from the industry on crossbow equipment. I communicated back and forth with engineers at Burris for several years when they were in the design phase of the OracleX and did some testing for them when they had working samples. Pretty darn effective piece of equipment for crossbow folks. It was just released this past summer and retails for $899 which isn't cheap.

Garmin also has a laser rangefinding scope the XeroX1i that I helped with development as well. It Retails for $1700 and is certainly a step up from the Burris as far as technology goes. It looks like a heads up in a fighter jet when you look through it. I shot last years buck with the Garmin. It was the first animal taken in Pa with it.

Now to answer your question of what will they think of next, mum is the word, lol.
