87 SEA NYMPH Fishing Boat - NO LONGER FOR SALE, THANKS

MOVED TO FLORIDA!  This can be removed if the mods want.  Thanks.

For sale: 1987 Sea Nymph 196 Fish N Ski with Tohatsu 9.9/18hp outboard
pics here:  https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/boa/d/fombell-87-sea-nymph-fishing-boat/7216410823.html
(Price dropped $250 for forum people.  Saves you asking me if I'll take 4K when I price it at $4250)

Fishing boat used mostly on Lake Arthur. Boat was gutted and rebuilt 3 or 4 years ago and is a super comfortable fishing machine. Features:

- 9.9 stickered Tohatsu with 18hp kit installed
- galvanized ez-loader trailer with LED lights, swing arm hitch and 2 year old tires (including spare)
- Lowrance fish finder/GPS unit
- 4 top of the line Cabelas fishing seats
- new marine plywood floor coated with bed liner
- built in 18g gas tank
- 7 rod holders forward, two rear with board to mount more
- two batteries
- custom travel cover
- lots of storage

This boat has everything you need to fish local lakes comfortably with 2-4 people. It has been on Erie in chop and handles that fine (though the current engine is a bit light for Erie). Not sure what the max HP is but it had a 70hp on it originally. Boat does not leak.

The fuel gauge does not work. Intended to replace it (there is floor access to the rear of the tank) but never got around to it. The outboard runs all season and never uses 10 gallons of gas.

Title for boat and trailer in hand. Cash only. Transfer places reasonably close in Zelie or Ellwood City. To see boat email or text 724-sevensevensix-0444 during reasonable hours (say 8am-midnight). If you HAVE to call leave a voicemail and I'll call you back. I generally don't answer unknown callers.

Oh man I forgot this was here.  This boat (and myself) are now in sunny Florida.  Thanks for the interest though.

I'll edit the post now to show it as no longer for sale.

    Hey Sam!

How’s FL treating you? Are you using the Sea Nymph in the salt?

    Hope all is well!

Sup Pork!  FL is the best.  Well... it's hotter than Satan's steel boots, and it has rained every day for the last 7 or 8 weeks.  But other than that, it's great!  :)  Living in a rental in Ruskin at the moment.  About 15 mins to a launch into Tampa Bay.  Got a couple fishing trips done in the spring after getting a 70hp put on the 'nymph.  Nothing but troubles, but still had some fun.

The key to fishing down here is a SPOT LOCK TROLLING MOTOR.  Which costs somewhere in the 2500-3500 range depending.  So, you know, as much as my boat.  She's a perfect size for down here.  Don't need that big of a boat for the bay if you know what you are doing.  But I can't spend the $3K right now.  Signed my life away to build our house.  Hopefully next year I'll get some fishing done, maybe a new (for me) boat also.

Oh and come fall/winter (which is epic down here) I'm going to put some effort into sheepshead fishing.  The bay is littered with them and they are fun to catch and eat.  How's the green mud hole treating you Northerners this year?

The green hole is overfished. I haven’t even bothered in the past 2-3 months. Last fall was horrible, this spring was horrible, I’m not expecting much from this fall. Going to need a year or so of other activities to remain open and people do other stuff or head to more productive waters.

Congrats on the house. That is exciting. Good to hear your boat is getting you on the water too. Boat motors are boat motors, so no surprise yours is being a jerk. Mine has been one the past 2 years as well. My cousin has one of those anchor trolling motors. It is on a $150k boat, so $3-$4k is a drop. I hear the sheepshead are great eats and pull hard. So many good fish in that area. Hope the red tide problems are cleared up. I heard that area got hit hard this year.
