pymatuning ice fishing

Hit the ice off of Manning this past mon. and tue. did fairly well on the perch and crappie most were jumbos
fished in 14 ft of water. The ice was 7inches thick where I was but half the lake is open water so use your best judgement, it can be kind of unnerving seeing open water a couple hundred yards away from where your fishing. Always take spikes and a spud bar this time of year is a must also
