Tying a Foxabou baitfish

Borrowing from the craft fur minnow and other baitfish patterns, this version mixes arctic fox and marabou for profile and movement. The black and grey over copper provides a great look in a wide variety of water conditions. But, you can easily change the color combo to meet local needs.
This fly is tied on a wide gape streamer hook for sticking power and has a UV cure head over the eyes for extra durability and some sink weight. A simple pattern with only three body materials, it is as effective as it is easy to tie.
Materials
- Partridge Attitude streamer hook
- Lagurtun French flat braid
- Arctic Fox
- Marabou
- Stick on Eyes and UV Cure head
