kinzua walleye

gonna try walleye fishing this weekend at kinzua dam. anyone got any tips??? never fished there. grew up in warren co. but never fished for walleye there. Is fishing from NY line and south good? Willow bay, sugar bay??? any info would be great thanks...

    Im a little late for a reply but yeah Kinzua's great! The tailwaters of the dam are fairly hot and I hear Devils Elbows a good spot/area. personally Id fish the lake at night on rocky shorelines. Parallel your casts with the shore for the most part using 4 to 8 in plugs.  Good luck. I missed a hog on the river in Warren tonite. Had im hooked for maybe 30 secs n he came unbuttoned. First big eye since I moved up here in May.

    Buddys of mine were at Kinzu first week-end of Buck season & did great from shore on ave.sized eyes. Best that they had done this year.  sam
