NICE 1965 MERC 60 6 HORSEPOWER KIEKHAEFER BOAT MOTOR

For Sale: I HAVE A REAL NICE VINTAGE 1965 MERCURY MERC 60 6 HORSE KIEKHAEFER BOAT MOTOR. SERIAL NUMBER 1882149. IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT KICKER MOTOR. I HAVEN'T STARTED IT BUT IT HAS GREAT COMPRESSION AND IT TURNS OVER AND SPINS. NO DINGS OR DENTS. JUST A FEW MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHES. MORE PICS AVAILABLE. IT ALSO INCLUDES A VERY NICE 3 GALLON GAS TANK WITH HOSES AND CONNECTIONS. I'M ASKING $250.00 ( LAST REDUCTION ON THIS ).      How long has it sat for ? Have the coils and points been checked ? The rebuild price for the last 7.5 (a bit newer) I did was around $400. To make this a reliable motor, probably would have around $650 total, just to have some sense of reliability (yes, that prop is junk). 
     
    I would give the basic retail price for this motor....$100-$150. I would not want the gas tank either, and the connections would probably need replaced anyways (unless you have the original steel connectors).
