Wader seam leak

Anyone successful at repairing breathable wader seams leaking in the worst possible place, in cold water no less?

A bad day fishing is always better than a good day working.

Cut the waders in half then go for the "FlexSeal". 😜

    Or wait for warm water!

Shoe goo! Fixed mine right up when they were leaking in the same spot. I put 3 coats covering a softball sized area where the leak was. I also did inside and out to be safe.

Chaffing might be a little rough from the flexseal but I've always liked a little pain.  Think I'll give the shoe goo a whirl got nothing to loose.  Thanks guys.

Aqua Seal, sprinkle some baby powder on it while it's still tacky. Makes the repair area less sticky when your putting on your waders.

Bish's tear mender. Works great on neoprene and cloth. Would take several coats.

Like the baby powder suggestion.  Keep you smelling fresh all day too.

Aqua Seal fixed my boots this year, regular silicon was a failure. Like the baby powder tip.

Aqua seal and shoe goo are the same thing in my opinion. I've used both. Shoe goo is just a bit easier to find

Spray the seam with Flex Seal. The stuff you see on tv. Worked great on my leaky seams.

Thanks for all the suggestions but surprisingly I contacted Frogg Togg and explained that these were barely a year old and where they were leaking and their customer service said to ship them back and they would replace them.  Surprised the hell out of me.

Now that there's a good deal, I don't care who ya are.

Although, I think you might have enjoyed using the "FlexTape" sticky side out.

    Anyways, good for you. 👍

Got the new waders from Frogg Togg, had them out once so far and no surprises, YET.  I'll find out for sure this weekend heading to East Hickory for 3 days so we'll see how they do.  Good thing I got a spare pair.

I repaired the seams on a pair of breathables I have with aqua seal.   I haven't tried them yet.   I am waiting for warmer weather in case they still leak.
