Steelhead Fly Line Recommendation

Looking the replace the fly line on my 8 wt setup that I use only for steelhead in the Erie tribs.  Looking for some suggestions.    I have only been flying for Steelhead with the fly rod for about the last 6 years and the line I want to replace was my first setup.

If you're fishing the pa Erie tribs the fly line choice is not terribly important. You Won't often have more than a few feet of line out of the rod tip when casting anyway. Any floating line will do the job just fine. You may want to over line it 1 weight just to help close in turn over a bit. But if you're looking something specific, I think Rio makes an indicator line made for tossing bobbers and junk, as most in Erie tend to do.

Thanks. I was also recommend using a switch line to help with roll casts which is mostly what I am doing when in Erie or Oak Orchard.
