Landowner Basket Delivery

Next Saturday a group of fisherman will deliver 80 baskets to landowners that leave the land open to steelhead fish on.
Money was donated by Gem City Outdoorsman Club,3CU,S.O.N.S of lake erie, Pa.Steelhead****, and Individual  donations.

    For future reference, how would one donate to these? I'm not a local, but this is a great idea.

    You can send donations to the Pennsylvaina Steelhead Association. We have a special account for the Basket Program.

    Yes it did. 83 baskets were delivered. Everyone was very thankful and no complaints form anyone.

    Great program ! Just curious, has the land owner numbers increased, decreased , or stayed about the same in that program over the past few years ? What exactly do the baskets contain that are donated ? I assume some food items but was just wondering. Years ago we had permission to park in a restricted private area near Trout Run ( a private driveway ) my buddy brought the owner a fifth of whiskey every year ! Little things work wonders sometimes !!

    There have been up to 147 baskets. The amount of money we have donated we spend all of it every year. The baskets are fruit and nut. They come from Sabols Farm in Girard. Cost this year 29.50. We have cut back on Walnut only a few places at the mouth get them since not a lot of fisherman past there. We give baskets on all the Pa Tribs.
