Polts, Polts and more Polts

I can honestly say that this fall I have seen more polts than in the past 10 years. In one day I crossed 3 different sets of 12 or more.

I have seen a good number of them around Northern Ind Co also, one local flock I counted 13 youngsters in one morning on my way home from work a week or so ago.  Good to see.
We have also seen 3 different groups along in the NW Erie County area, each with numerous little ones.

Had a hen with 13 - repeat 13-out back early this year--then the Redtails came in and hung out for a few days- 13 went to zero. The birds of prey added to the local yotes and fox population are a definite killer of Turkey repro numbers.
