Google search Allegheny river levels west hickory and click on water.weather.government site that comes up. Normal depth and flow are around 3.75 to 4 feet and 2 to 3 flow(kcfs). Supposed to be up close to 6 ft and 10 kcfs of flow this weekend, that is to much for a canoe trip if you ask me. Been floating the Allegheny for 20 years from Buccaloons to Tidioute and always use that gauge when deciding when to float, its the only one up in that area even though it is a few miles donwstream of Tidioute. Those flows will have it running pretty fast and deep. Hasn't been many weekends this summer that you could float safely.
