Trout Run Ice Fishing

I saw the weirdest thing I've ever witnessed during ice fishing. I took a drive Feb.1st to Trout Run to observe the Steelhead in the stream, or at least as many as possible R/T the freezing of the waters. ~30' from the first bend in Trout Run closest to the lake shoreline were 3 ice shelters far from the lake's edge and clearly on the beach where the Run would make it's way to the water's edge. They had a few Steel on ice easily visible outside their shelters. I didn't have my cell or camera. It was interesting that as heavily patrolled as the Run is, they weren't caught, at least not by 1400 on Saturday. If it was me, I'd be cited for not having my license on my outerwear, lol!
