PI bay

Went out at 2nd lot on right,5-6" of good ice some clear some white spudded half way out still good ice.Fished until wind got to moving shanty then headed in for the day.Caught a few small perch marked quite a lot.

    Any reports on how the ice held up this past weekend?

    When I got off the ice on Misery last night its was still about 6 inches out in the middle, 10 ft of water

    Drove the bayfront back and forth several times today. No huts on the bay itself as far as I could see. I didn't even see one die hard fishing in the little square inlet off of chestnut. I'm guessing the main bay ice is not safe or someone would have been out.

    fished stink hole late thur bite was slow, ice was 5-6" did hit one spot with less than 3"  but small area

    Going up to PI tomorrow.  Any word how the ice is?

    who knows where to find some good numbers of fish....not looking for any specifics, but dont want to make the trip for just a couple of fish

    Not sure how the ice is, but Misery Bay is a good place to try if you don't have a lot of experience on the bay.  Do you know how the ice is?  Heading out tomorrow, but would feel better if there was a report.  Didn't get a chance to drive out today or I would have checked myself.

    ice is fine. 7-9 inches.
