    entire bay iced over. no idea how thick, but looks promising

    Just did a check for myself.
    Chestnut 10" thick slush
    Misery 3" clear 1 "slush 4" white drilled 2 holes about 30yards out if I wasn't alone I would of went further and most likely fished it!
    Horseshoe 1" clear 5" slush hard top. No good

    Fished misery today ice isn't the best. good in spots bad in other got into a bunch of nice of nice gills. Be very careful if you go and don't even try it without a spud bar. Most was 3-4 of clear with 2-4 white on top some spots had a layer of slush between clear and white anywhere between 1" and 8". Just be careful spud and picks are a must for early ice anywhere

    Anybody know if presque isle Bay is still covered?
