Anyone else get out over the long weekend?

Sure hope a lot of you were able to enjoy the long weekend with mostly awesome weather. I got up to North Park Lake on Saturday. A little later than I should have but still got some nice fishing in. Took home one rainbow. Had one BIG "something" on at one point, but didnt bring it in. Aside from that just the normal small bass and bluegill. Had never been to North Park Lake before so it was interesting to get the lay of the land. SERIOUSLY CROWDED, but I'll be taking the kids up, and it has a great bait shop close by. I'm gla this forum turned me on to it. 
 

 
Fished 4 mile run Sunday. Plenty of trout left, but they werent biting on ANYTHING. Powerbait, crawlers, spinners, waxworms, powerbait realistix shad, tried everything I had. Just couldnt get anything to bite.
 
Still enjoyed getting out on the water.

    I was out yesterday in the burgettstown area not real sure where we fished just some ponds in the woods. I know some people who live in the area and we went out with them. Caught 5-6 real nice largemouth and some bluegills was nice to get out and do some fishing even though I only caught one bass it was nice to get out and fish and have people catching some nice fish it was a nice end to the long weekend.

    I did pretty good at Kooser and Jones Mill run on the Saturday before memorial day.  Caught eleven fish and  lost four or five more.  Probably the best I ever did on pelletheads this late in the season.

    Kooser is real weedy on the bottom, how are you getting them ? Floats and bait ? My usual PB on the bottom never works due to all the weeds. I like the lake, clear and all but hard to bottom fish with the kids.

    We were at Kooser a month ago and between me my brother and my nieces boyfriend we caught about 25. All on the bottom with powerbait. I just put two split shot about 18" above the hook.
