Highpoint lake

Anyone been there to see water level lately? Do you have to drag the johnboat in or can you possibly launch a deep v without backing truck into the lake way off the ramp?

we're considering hitting high point next week - a water level report from a local would be much appreciated!

Based on my trip there a month ago, watch out for floating chunks of ice.

Most of it is probably busted up, though, so you should be able to get out on the water.

Went on memorial day...water level is fine. Maybe slightly lower than last year, but no issues launching. Some of the guys with bigger bats were using the launch on the other side of the lake from where most people come in..fishing was good!

thanks liprip - the north launch is a bit deeper - we'll probably try it.
