Hello All

Just introducing myself. I'm Noah and I've been fishing for as long as I could pick up a rod. About 5 years ago I got into fishing out of a kayak and it changed everything. Now, a friend and I run a kayak fishing club here in Western PA.

We will be having six bass tournaments this year in our area. If you are a kayak fisherman or feel it may be something you want to try, let me know. The more the merrier.

Anyway, it's nice to have yet another place to talk and read about fishing in our area.

    Never did a kayak before but I do know of quite a few guys who kayak on the site here. Nice to meet you good luck out there

    might as well mention that wind & water boatworks is having a demo day at lake arthur coming up next week.  i'm hoping i can make it up there in time to try out a few different kayaks.

    I just joined your board about a week ago.  Lots of good info and good people on these boards.  I hope to take the yak out for the first time this year tomorrow.

    Cold,

    I can understand that... We do plenty aside from those tournaments too. Keep in touch with us on the website forums to keep track of where we are- there are guys from all over and do a pretty good job of letting everybody know where they're fishing and, as always, the more the merrier.

    i too am not down with tourneys.. i dont even have a "fishing yak" but ide be down to meet up and discover some new places to yak
     
    made a cool rod holder for my yak out of a cardboard tube and a bungy (:

    Bummer. These weekends have been tough for yakin anyway with the wind. You should have a great week for it- Tuesday it looks like it lays down a bit.

    No problem- plenty of other things going on. Heroes on the water events, river cleanups, non tournament days on the water. Keep in touch
