Beaver River

Just wanted to see if anyone has been out on the beaver river yet this year? I have been out a few times this year but only did some pond fishing. Trying to go out thursday after I get off work and head down to the river. I am contemplating going below the dam in New Brighton or down by the bridge by Tinitique resturante. I fished there years ago and had some good luck catching some white bass and catfish. Havent fished that area for year so I dont know if it is any good or not just wondering if anyone has been out in that yet this year and had any luck.
