That's the bridge in Bridgeport right near the Bridgeport Sportsmans club.

Yeah, that detour was kind of crappy. Thought you knew about it Sam so I didn't mention it.

That bridge has been near collapse for years, ill tell you all a secret tho. I grew up in bridgeport and if you wanna catch some of the biggest carp/catfish in the area they are about 50 feet down down stream from the construction and nice tiger muskee have been cought right below the falls

Not to get off of topic but is Jacobs creek dead afted the acid infested water than runs in a the railrosd tracks and bike trail? I never here of anyone fishing from there clear down to Chaintown. Wish it at least held suckers or baitfish, if it does would anyone let me know? Need a place to get bait. Don't want to burn no ones spots though.

I also grew up in bridgeport and still only live 3 min from it now. That bridge being out is a big pain in the****I do alot of my fishing at the club there and also catch some carp down from the bridge. There use to be some big carp but they are slowing getting smaller due to people bow shooting them.As for big catfish i have never seen any big come out of there like bridgeport had said.I have caught a few small bullheads 8in or so.

Its been a few years since ive seen a real big cat come from there, ppl always used to get them while i would be riding bikes by the bridge. Theres also another hole up from the falls the Basingers showed me growing up. Its across from cherry lane. Theres even a swamp at the end of cherry lane we used to stock w baitfish. One year it dried up and we discovered it was home to some ridiculous sized catfish/carp, wonder if any were able to survive in the small water pool that was left.
