Loyalhanna Dam

Does anyone know if its open for fishing an if the docks are in ? It seems a lot of times last year it was closed .

    The ramp opened yesterday, but no docks until mid April. They said debris had been bad for the past few weeks.

    "There has been a change of plans. The boat launch at the Bush Recreation Area will be opened on April 5th, 2013. They will not be putting the boat docks in until the middle of April, so there will be no charge to launch your boat until then. Remember when boating, their will be floating debris and logs on the lake. Please look out for all safety hazards. Also, always wear your life jacket."

    Fished loyalhanna today windy but fish were biting 43-48 deg water temp all on crankbaits in about 8 ft of water.
