Fish were hitting well at the upper Twin Lake today.  Caught mostly small browns.

I stopped by today as well just before lunch time. Though my drive want quite that far. Another rough winter for fishing for sure. I never even got out on any ice, myself.

We went to Mammoth around noon to find mostly ice. We did break some ice & fished for about 2hrs. to no avail. Then we went to the upper lake & found some open water in front of the parking lot on the wishing well side, we caught a couple of browns & talked to my buddy that told us it was iced over earlier, but melted a little as the day went on. Actualy there was plenty of open water on that side, but very little on the other. Guys were still picking them up on Velveeta cheese.  sam
