Lake Arthur and High Point Report

Start at Mt.Zion at lake arthur last night before dark fished until 11 when the rain hit. Caught 3 crappies, ice around 5"

Woke up this morning at 8 and went to High Point. Fished by the dam for the first time and found about 8" of ice in most places. Once the rain hit there was about 4" of water on top of the ice and it made conditions very dangerous the ice was melting very quickly so we left. We got 2 pike and missed a run on a shiner on tip up.

Ok cool thanks for the heads up. Still going to check it out maybe the last 3 days of cold weather helped make good ice. Worse case scenario I'll fish the outflow of the yough. I heard they're catching some walleye there.
