put in bay

Any one ever get on the ice there?  Was just thinking bout taking a trip was thinking maybe lake of the woods but put in bay is so much closer. Anyone recamend a good ice guide ?

    You need ice first.  When looking for an outfitter make sure the run airboats as well as snowmobiles.  With the late start, I wouldn't hold my breath that you'll get good ice around the western islands.  LOW is a safe bet.  I'm seriously contemplating a run to Rainy Lake.

    i fished lake of the woods, mn a couple years ago..  awesome trip.
