Center pin outing
Is there any interest here this year on going to the center pin outing. It has been discussed on facebook with and we will have a decent turn out. I'm offering anyone here that may want to attend the chance to chime in and sign up. The date of the outing will be November 17th and we are also having a raffle again this year. If you'd like some more details pm me and I'll get you all the info you'll need.

Harry no need to donate any gear. I've got that all handled. You could purchase tickets though to help raise money for the brown trout program.

I will come if everyone admits that a pin outfit is overkill for PA Erie tribs. Then all must break the rods and turn in the reels for scrap. With the money you make in scrap you guys can all pitch in and get tipsy on wine coolers.

I'm a little disappointed this year. No love from fish USA for this outing. It's nice that other sponsors stepped up to the plate for this event. I hope to see some of the other fisherie guys at the outing this year. I think it's funny that the link above has survived for the last two weeks. Pretty much shows how this company feels about the centerpin community.

The link above was left up because it does not violate acceptable use policies. Your (or whoever's it is) website is not a website competing commercially with Fish USA. I don't know why it is funny to you. I bet if Fish USA donated free stuff to every group of guys that got together to go fishing, they would be out of business real fast. Go fish, drink beer, enjoy life..that's what its about, not how much free crap you can pass out to your friends. Take care, have fun at your outing.

wow!! nice comment about the free crap. Its not for me to give free crap to my "buddies" In case you havent read the thread the donations were being used to raffle off to help raise money for the brown trout program. Where 100 percent of the procedes from the raffle go. I am completely fine if Fish Usa does not have the funds to donate to this cause all I wanted was to have an answer not be avoided when I call and stop in to buy from them. Have a nice day

Succesful event. $1101 raised at the event. Next time you kill a brown in Erie thank the pinner standing next to you.

Thanks to Paul and Scott for organizing this outing, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Thanks to Tim for showing how to run a pin, and for letting me use his rod to catch my first ever steelie on a pin rod. Have to thank him and mark for lending me a few eggs too. Also caught my first brown on the fly rod, single egg pattern ;-)
The food, drink and fellowship was fantastic as well. Congrats to the raffle winners, some well deserved winners!
Great group, I'll be back next year!
Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.

It was a good time...Slivovica was flowing quite well men!
I don't think it has anything to do with a "centerpin" thing at all more so than personal issues....but who cares, "it is what it is" and the event was a success regardless. No hard feelings ever its all water under the bridge and life goes on.
