Alleghany bass

The Queen switched up and slipped over to the Alleghany saturday. I spent much of the morning netting big bass for her. Not sure how many were hooked but she kept 5 that were deep hooked and stressed and theweight was around16-17lb. She knows where the big ones are now for the Pa State Tourny in Sept. Look out for the Queen.....WF

    17 pound limit on the Allegheny mid-summer is awesome! Never see that around SW PA pools anymore. How bout some pics?
     
    Now was that just tough luck on all the gut hooking? Or were you live bait fishing? That's gotta be pretty hard to do unless it's live bait or maybe senkos?

    got a couple cell phone pics, I'll try to figure this out to post them. She was useing live minnows All the fish kept were 16 or better. She caught very few under 15 with only about 4 or 5 under 12..WF
