twin lakes

Took a ride over this morn. saw a few trout caught,were only a few people out. Saw some nice bass & carp swimming around. A few big common carp were chasing that large Koi all over the place. Was told that earlier this week, water at the surface was approx.81% This was at the lower lake.  sam

    Can anyone tell me if the lower lake has many weeds along the wall by the boat house yet ? Taking a couple of newbies fishing on sunday didnt want to deal with the weeds too. Has the club stocked lately  Thanks for any info Paul

    I was there a about 3 weeks ago and there was some weeds in the middle probably around 20 yards from the wall. They were in patches though and not solid. That being said that was a few weeks back so they may have grown in some.

    Lots of weeds next to the boat house,not bad from the handi-capped pier down. Less weeds at the upper-lake. Club stocked in early May,done stocking till fall. BTW Cnty is having a free derby on Fathers Day.  sam

    We got skunked last night carp fishing. One hit early then nothing for the next few hours.
