Yough River

I live near Smithton. Can anyone give me some tips for fishing the Yough. I jave lived here over 20 years and have only fished it a couple times. Always preferred streams and lakes. I don't have a boat. I fish from shore. I have always hated this river but hope to change that.

    Wading the Smithton area is good for small mouth.  I use natural brown and green colored tubes texas rigged with small 1/16th oz. bullets, various blue fox spinners and crawfish cranks with good results.
