New Water -

Made a trip to some new water on Sunday. Had a heck of a time. Definitely more to explore.

Here's one for you, Cold:

And of course, my best friend was waiting for me in the driveway when I got home:

Trout 2 is definetly a streambred tiger. First one I have ever seen. The others are beautiful native browns. You lucky bugger....WF

    Beautiful fish!

All those fish appear to be wild(streambred) to me. Not reaally 100% sure if that's a tiger or not, but of it is it's definitely showing more brown traits than brookies. Oh and browns aren't native to this part of the world.

I don't know about the streambred part. I think it was a conjugal visit in a stocking bin myself. But yeah...el tigro is off my bucket list.

Gotta be a different strain of Brown Trout than what we grow around here, doesn't it ??
Have never seen Browns with that much red in them....

Native browns all seem to take on the red. Central Pa has tons of streams with them in. Just ask the guy with the 200 trout a day average. My buddy always says," red spots so bright they hurt your eyes to look at them."...WF
