tuttle campground

does anyone know if they are open this year?

    future plans are to turn tuttle into a long term campground with a limited number of sites possibly around 30 and these spots would be leased for seasonal use and would have to be renewed on a yearly basis. but at this time no it is not open and will not open this year

    What a shame. Thanks for another year of no tuttles Mr. Park Manager.

    Temporary closed my butt.!!!! What a shame!!!

    the gate was closed sunday dont know if it will reopen

    Any idea who you would contact if someone might be interested in a site if indeed this would happen? Would seem like that they would go fast so if there would be a waiting list, who would you contact? Thanks

    Don't waste your time in will never open again. From what I have seen they gutted the building and heard going to knock them down. And if it would open it will be 4000 or more a season with the state running it. What a waste.

    My thought is Tuttle will reopen in some capacity in the future.
    I do not think the state wants it to end up like the old Espyville campground,remember it?

    THE OLD ESPYVILLE CAMPGROUND WAS DESTROYED BY THE STATE WHEN THE NEW MARINA WAS MADE. THEY DUMPED ALL OF THE MATERIAL THAT WAS REMOVED FROM MARINA ON THIS VERY NICE PIECE OF PROPERTY

    For all that they should just sell it to a private owner. But that would never happen....

    Called the state park, the campground and beach area area still closed.
