Is there a name on the box? Like the name of the lure.

It is a Perch Scale shallow running lip with what looks like tack eyes in a "modern" box probably from the 60's early 70's.

In excellent shape but the box is torn some.

May sell for $10-20 with the box.

The red gill slashes were not present on the earlier glass eyed versions of this lure. Also comes in a jointed configuration.

They made multitudes of this Perch scale as it is one of their better sellers.

Pikies are one of my favorite collections.

I have been going over my collection to fix a bunch to use this summer on Chautauqua.

Tackeyed Pikie minnows are listed on E-Bay with starting prices of $.99 and no one bids on them. Sorry. Glass eyed mint in the right paper box sometimes bring $20.00. The only Pikies that sell for over $50.00 are "Special" non-factory colors. Back in the day when you bought a Creek Chub lure there was an order form in the box. If you ordered 5 lures you could ask for any color you want. I had a Creek Chub Plunker mint, which might have sold for $25.00. It was a factory "Special" red.{certified by a Creek Chub expert as original, not a repaint] It sold for $360.00. The guy who bought it was from Georgia and collected only Creek Chub lures and only in "Special" red.
