Seven Springs Fly Tying Symposium

Seven Springs will be hosting its annual fly tying symposium at the sporting clays grill on April 6th at 6pm. This is a free event and features fly tyers from all over the Northeast demonstrating their most popular flies. This year we will have Eric stroup, Tom Baltz, Joe Humphries,Randy Buchanon, Chuck Furimski and a host of others. This is always a fun event and a great night of drinks, dinner and some great interaction with some of the best fly tyers around.

Just got back from the symposium and believe it or not Bob Nutting was there. LOL!
Got some great tips from some All-World tyers- Joe Humphries,Bob Clouser Sr.& Jr.,Etc.
It would be nice to get this show back like it was back in the day when it ran 3 days.
Very informative, I'm glad I went.

Well It's that time of year again, This years fly tying symposium will be on Thursday March 28th at 7pm.

To reach the Sporting clays lodge, make a left on village drive immediately after coming in the front entrance of the resort. Follow signs for "Sporting Clays", its about 3.5 miles from the front entrance. The grill will be open for dinner and drinks. J

Seven Springs fly fishers are going to be having our annual fly fastening conference at the Sporting Clays grill on prime of the mountain at Seven Springs. this is often a good time and we'll be that includes tyers from everywhere the Northeast. Eric Stroup, Tom Baltz, Joe Humphreys, Charlie Meck and a number of alternative tyers are going to be demonstrating their best patterns.

Sparklin is out hunting in Montana right now.  He just texted me that he got a muley.

IDK what William is talking about, the symposium is every spring around the same time.  It is a blast, I try to make it up every year.  These guys aren't getting any younger, you should go and check it out.
