Reports Page Funnies

" Caught some rainbow, many native Brookies (Very Cool)"

Seems that some smolt have already been stocked. This isn't the first guy. Several years ago I fished across from two guys on upper elk, whacking the smolts. One complained to the other about not being able to get his bait past the "brookies" to the Steelhead.

    and HCsteel told me there were no native brook trout in erie. guess he doesn't know what crick to fiish.

    Actually there is/was one brook trout in Godfrey run ... ( December 2011 ) Unfortunately it was not native . How it ended up there is a great mystery but the white fins told the tail . Hope it returns to be a 5 + lber : )

    Ther are (or used to be) stocked in a few streams for certain vet & kid outings by private clubs. With the approval of the boys of course.
